“Choice”

he garden symbolizes the choice that a person may face in this world. One road leads towards good. This is a garden of peace and harmony; it is full of life, water, animals and plants. Here flowers and herbs are blossoming, the sun is shining, the ladybugs are flying, and the water in the pond gives life. The other road leads to destruction, despair and fear. This part of the garden is decorated in dark and scary colours. We can see dry trees, scorched earth, frightening flames and sad tombstones. The little man at the beginning of the path have to choose his path, a magic wand leads him. The books about the magical world of Harry Potter inspired the idea of the garden. Materials: the base is a wooden box covered with plastic, crushed brick for drainage, earth, perlite for the decor of the “peaceful” part of the garden, a plastic jar for the pond, marble stones to decorate the pool, coal, vermiculite, black sand for the “bad”part of the garden”, dry repainted branches, painted in black decorative balls, matches for crosses, cardboard. Plants: dwarf roses, blue lavender.
