The Cranes Garden

nspired by the story of a little girl who miraculously survived after the atomic bombing in Heroshima. The girl whose hope and faith in a better future amazes everyone, has become a symbol of the rejection of war! We would like to present to you “The Cranes Garden”, the main idea of which is the epitome of the world without war. The center of the composition is a copy of the solid gates of Torii, which successfully resisted the bombardment, many earthquakes and the most powerful tsunami. Torii – the sacred Japanese gate that is a metaphor for entering into the holy space, connecting with the past! In this project, the Torii embody the line between the past and the future, recalling what happened before the disaster and what we got after it. In our garden, we would like to remind people of the ongoing connection between the generations and the value of a peaceful sky above their heads.
