Formation of the creative territory “FACTORY of CRAFTS DEVELOPMENT” in the city of Semenov by methods of investment-attractive landscaping

Semenov city district is the center of one of the most striking folk art crafts in Russia-Khokhloma painting. Today, in order to preserve this historic city and craft, the «Institute for integrated development of the territory», together with the design Studio “St. Arrow”, has developed a concept for urban improvement and the creation of a “craft Factory” on them, commissioned by the administrations of the Nizhny Novgorod region and Semenov. The concept involves the creation of models of Arrangement (set and design of small architectural forms, urban advertising, formats of functioning and use of individual sections of territory and their totality) of public territories in settlements – places of traditional existence of NHP in accordance with the original features of the place.
