The improvement of China-town in Moscow

The improvement of the historical part of Moscow-Kitay-Gorod was carried out according to the projects developed by the «Institute of urban planning and design» based on the concepts proposed by the design Studio “St. Arrow”. The main thing in this joint work was not just to make the territory comfortable for residents and guests of the city, but to recreate, where it was possible, the historical spirit of the place. Based on the analysis of archival materials, the locations of destroyed temples were identified, important historical artifacts were found, and the details and color of the historical facades of the building were restored. As a result, this part of the city once again has the historical Moscow.
