Concept
Amidst chaos amongst the rest of the world we send a plea for peace. The Indo-Nepal Cult is a symbol of friendship between the countries Nepal and India. Though being neighbours the borders have never hindered the cultural mix between these two nations. Celebration of festivals common to both like Mahashivratri, Fagun Purnima, Indra Jatra and many more such festivals is deeply rooted in our cultures.
The garden we have designed is a symbol of peace and platonic bond between the nations. It is designed with masks used in Indra Jatra as artefacts decorating the journey to the stage for performance i.e. symbolizing the final destination of every human being. The small worship place curated to instil peace and tranquillity with plants like, Mussaenda Acuminta, Crape Jasmine and Bougainvillea Spectabils giving the garden a mesmerising feel of devotional worship. The scent of these flowers swoops a person and directs its attention towards worship.
