Jardin d’O

arden of O has been designed as a place to enjoyed a as quiet and peacefull area. This garden is a water garden where the water enter in the ground by various holes and the vegetations is between water plants to terrestrial plants. I’ve designed some island with differents planting on each of them like (worlds) to help the Mind to travel. The visitors walk into the garden with the feeling to navigate between water, vegetation elements, ground, and lights effects. At the end of the walk they can sit on benches which follows the shapes of the surrounding Islands. The Surrounding walls are made in raw concrete with strip of glasses which direct the light and the sun as ray of lights. At the end of the garden the visitors arrives to the (sun) a plexiglass green oval concave structure in the wall that give an atmospheric mood as visitors sit on the benches. The plants have been choose for their natural aspects and their structures as well for their connection with water. This garden represent a walk through life and meditation for visitor guide by lights plants water. Its an experience and a journey. Garden of O is name as a reference to the shapes of the holes the (sun) in the wall at the end of the garden and o is pronounced as (eau) in French which mean water.
