The source of the Qinhuai

inhuai River is the mother river of Nanjing. VIVACE wants to express not only the source of a river, but also the source of culture and inspiration. In terms of hydrology, “Qinhuai River source” is not a single source. VIVACE hopes to express the feeling of “source” and “richness”. VIVACE uses the form of spiral waves to organize the terrain. In the middle of the rotating space is a “source”. The spiral space continues the water wave form, and people can get a sense connection of “source” in the surrounding space. Two different ways to enter the garden: mysterious path and sunshine Avenue, “Mysterious path” is a winding, long and narrow passage, with flat and carved steel walls on both sides of the road. The “Sunshine Avenue” is composed of Chinese classical stacked stone waterfall and flower slope. On the stone mountain, there are cliff stone carvings of “the source of Qinhuai”.
